It may sound corny, and it probably is, but here it goes:
2010 was both bad and good.
Bad: my dad got liver cancer. Good: it was detected early and therefore removed. he’s doing great now.
Bad: Mom had to go into surgery thanks to a hernia (which turned out to be two). good: she’s fine as well!
Bad: no steady income. Good: fantastic parents.

As of this moment, I shall close a cycle. I probably should’ve done this several years ago, why I didn’t do it before, I don’t know. maybe I needed for someone to slap me silly (not literally of course) and make me realize that the grass is not only NOT greener on the other side, just a funkier shade of it.
